Well for starters it was well written and enjoyable. I got lost within the book easily. I laughed quite a bit and got angry with the characters. A good read for sure!!!!Product details

I was a little surprised with the final book of "HvZ." It had nothing to do with the game, but everything to do with Lucas and Dean settling into their small apartment and becoming a couple. Unfortunately shortly after summer vacation starts, Dean's grandmother visits. She is from the old school and is disappointed that Lucas and Dean are not mated. Also she has a constant barrage of suggestions on how Lucas can become a better omega according to her rules. I get the feeling that she is secretly sorry that she is an omega and would really like to be more independent like Lucas and her grandson. This is also a story of conflict between Dean and Lucas because of his love of his grandmother. Lucas feels Dean is not backing him up. In this story, I lost some respect for Lucas. Mostly he acted like a spoiled brat by hiding in his room to avoid the grandmother and being sullen and rude. He also slips out of the house to meet a vampire friend, Bran, whom Dean absolutely doesn't want him to hang around with. He is rude and less than understanding of James, his ex-roommate and a freshly made vampire. At the end of the book, Lucas and Dean still have not mated although the promise between the two is there. I am glad that Noah wrote this final book because it did clear up some issues. I am glad that Noah wrote this book and reaffirmed the love that Dean and Lucas have for each other and explains why they hesitates to mate with each other. It certainly was entertaining and I appreciate the lack of violence and the loving sex that Dean and Lucas have together.
Love the dynamic between Lucas and Dean. Although Lucas is an Omega, Dean did expect him to be anything but himself.
PLEASE say that this isn't the end of the series!! I've fallen in love with these guys, and their friends, and their stories. This is well-written and very enjoyable. I can only hope that Noah will come back to them, and soon.
I received this book in exchange for an honest review. The boys are back and I loved it! Dean and Lucas are sharing a summer together in their new home and trying to settle into a new routine. There is a little adjusting a little give and take to the relationship but on a whole they are pretty sound. The game takes a back stage in this book as the focus is on Dean's grandmother coming to visit. We get a little insight into Dean's past and we also get to know Bran the vampire a little more. I look forward to book five and back to the game!
It was good to get another installment of the series but I was surprised and saddened that the author doesn't (at this time) intend to write any more in the series. I had hoped that things would move forward with the guys' relationship (maybe to mating) but that isn't the case. Bran, Lucas's vampire friend is back but Alex and Martin are away for the summer so we don't get some of the warm camaraderie of the other books.There is also no HvZ during the summer so no fun details about the game. However, Lucas's situation with Dean's grandmother was very entertaining--everyone has someone like that in their family. I'm sure that my rating would have been higher is this had been just a regular entry in the series and not the last one with so much left unresolved.

This is the fourth book in the Human vs. Zombies Series. I loved this book. In this book Dean’s grandmother comes to visit. Dean and Lucas are officially living together, in a little one bedroom apartment. Lucas is originally thrilled that he gets to meet Dean’s grandmother that is until he actually meets his grandmother. Dean’s grandmother is also an omega, and all she can do is tell Lucas what he should be doing, how he should walk, talk, and behave like an omega. It drives Lucas up the wall and with Dean still having to go to work Lucas is stuck at home with his grandmother. Lucas spends a lot of time sleeping and texting his vampire friend Bran. Dean doesn’t want Lucas to have anything to do with Bran because vampires like to drink werewolf blood, and Dean is afraid that Bran will bleed Lucas and that he could die because of it. With Dean’s grandmother in the house, Lucas needs to get out of the house, and he ends up getting breakfast with Bran. While having breakfast, Lucas explains about Dean’s concerns and they come up with the idea that Bran can do a blood bond with James to prove that he has no intentions to drink Lucas’s or any other werewolf’s blood. Now all Lucas has to do is convince Dean to allow them in the house to perform the blood bond. Lucas is able to convince Dean, and they get the blood bond done, and the best thing ever happens at dinner that night. Dean’s grandmother lets them know that she is going back home, and Lucas suggest that Dean should contact his father and let him know about Lucas and his new job and the new apartment and that he is in his last year of college, and she agrees. Biggest surprise ever is when Lucas says goodbye to Dean’s grandmother the next morning and she gives him a hug. Guess she likes him after all. That morning he gets another text from Bran wanting to know if he wants to start playing HvZ again. I love this series. I think Noah Harris has done a wonderful job fleshing out the story line and developing his characters. I recommend this book and this series.
